Rhythm & Brews Festival FAQ

How does this work?
The 2024 Rhythm & Brews festival takes place in Bellevue on August 17 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Individual breweries will be represented inside local shops along Lincoln Avenue and bands will be performing at various locations. A map with the list of tasting locations will be provided to guide your stroll along Lincoln Avenue. Each ticketed attendee gets a pour from each brewery.

Registration will be at The Center Of Bellevue (2 N. Sprague Ave.) – please enter through the side door on Sprague Avenue. You’ll be asked for your name at registration, along with a photo ID. If you’ve not already signed the waiver digitally, you can fill out and sign a paper copy at registration. If tickets do not sell out prior to Saturday, additional tickets will be sold at registration for $60 each until we reach capacity. We cannot guarantee that tickets will be available and those remaining on Saturday will be sold first come, first serve.

What does the ticket fee cover?
The ticket fee entitles guests to sample beers at all the stops on the crawl, a souvenir tasting glass, as well as the entertainment provided by bands playing at various locations. The event is a fundraiser for Bona Fide Bellevue, a 501c3 non-profit Community Development Corporation working to promote living and working in Bellevue, PA.

What does the money raised get used for?

The Rhythm & Brews Beer Festival is one of the flagship fundraising events for Bona Fide Bellevue, and all profits raised are used to support a variety of community programs in Bellevue. For 4 years, this event has provided vital funding for our programs while bringing visitors to Bellevue to enjoy our businesses, restaurants, and hospitality.

Bona Fide Bellevue is an 100% volunteer-led registered 501c3 non-profit Community Development Corporation (CDC). Our mission is to celebrate Bellevue’s unique community and welcome others to join us as we cultivate a more vibrant place to live, worship and shop.

Proceeds from fundraising events like this one support programs like:
• The Light Up Bellevue Holiday Celebration

• Mural and Public Art Initiatives
• Our Annual DEI Scholarship
• Facades Grants for local businesses
• Improve the Vue community clean up days
• Historic Preservation Planning and Education

Are there physical tickets for the event?
When buying tickets in advance online, each participant will receive a confirmation email after the ticket purchase. At registration, check in with the name of the registered ticket holder. All ticket holders will be asked to show ID and sign a waiver to receive a tasting glass and wristband. Please hang on to these items! You’ll need them at each stop.

Is this kid-friendly?
Yes! Our event is kid and family-friendly, and those that aren’t drinking don’t need to purchase a ticket. Without a ticket they will not receive a wristband, glass or program. No alcohol will be served to attendees without these items. In addition to beer tastings and live music, games will be provided for the public along the closed section of Lincoln Avenue. Please be courteous and share the games with others.

Where is parking available?
Public parking is available throughout the borough. However, much of Lincoln Avenue will be closed, so we highly encourage you to carpool or use a ride service such as Uber or Lyft. Bellevue is also accessible via three Port Authority bus routes as well: the 13 BELLEVUE, 14 OHIO VALLEY, and 16 BRIGHTON.

Will there be food available?
Yes. Local restaurants will be selling food, both inside and outside. We encourage you to try as many as possible and experience the variety that Bellevue has to offer.

Will the event still happen in inclement weather?
This event will be held “rain or shine.”
